Alicia Keys cancels two shows
Right on the heels of Jordin Sparks having to cancel a handful of shows on Alicia Keys's As I am tour, including the opening date on April 19 due to a reported throat injury, comes news that Keys has also been sidelined.
The eleven-time Grammy winner canceled her April 22 show in Pittsburgh and April 24 date in Cleveland, OH due to a continued bout with swollen vocal chords. Keys is currently being treated by a physician and is expected to return to the stage for her April 26 show at the Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH.
A post on Keys's website instructs ticket holders in both cities to contact the respective venues for information about the shows, and fans with tickets for the Cleveland concert will be able to have them honored at the upcoming show in Columbus, OH on April 26.
Keys’s As I Am tour is in support of her five-times worldwide platinum album, "As I Am." The 30-date tour wraps June 18 at New York's Madison Square Garden.
