Billy Joel is heading Down Under in November for a series of six concerts in Australia and New Zealand. This tour is starting November 23 in Perth, AU and concluding December 14 in Aukland, NZ. There is enough space between concerts for more shows to be added depending upon initial on sales. Tickets go on sale in July 25.
The Piano Man will take to the stage in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney and, for the first time in 10 years, will also play shows in Auckland and Adelaide. In 2006 he toured Australia, breaking attendance records across the country.
It has been 30 years since the release of Joel's landmark album "The Stranger." To celebrate this anniversary, Sony BMG is issuing "The Stranger 30th Anniversary Legacy" edition with a bonus disc of live tracks.
Most recently Joel has been awarded the prestigious honor of giving the final-ever musical performance at Shea Stadium in Flushing, NY on July 16 and 18.
