Brian Thompson

Brian Thompson is TicketNews's business development reporter. He is a 2008 graduate of Yale University with a double major in economics and religious studies. When not studying the marginal demand for god, Brian founded the Dinosaur Candy Company, a late night snack delivery service catering the Yale's hungry students burning the midnight oil. When not researching the ticket market or playing Willy Wonka, he enjoys board, card, and video games. He also enjoys a good sports game, and is an avid hockey fan. He roots for the Nashville Predators as well as his hometown Chicago Blackhawks.

Brian enjoys covering the business side of the ticket market. His favorite piece to date was an interview with the President of RMG Technologies to get his side of the story on the Hannah Montana debacle for which his company was blamed. He also enjoys interviewing new startup companies in the ticketing industry. Additionally, Brian writes an opinion column for the Yale Daily News. His less than secret life's ambition is to become knighted by the Queen of England, but in the mean time is thrilled to be moving back to Chicago to be closer to his fiancée.
