Elton John, Billy Joel tour adds new U.S. date to 2010 schedule
After a disappointing fall season filled with cancellations and postponements, co-headlining duo Elton John and Billy Joel appear to be making up the difference.
At least one entirely new date will be mixed in with the pair's early 2010 Face 2 Face Tour make-up dates. The latest addition comes in the form of a March 3 engagement at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, KS.
Tickets for the new concert will be available to the general public on December 12.
The concert falls near the end of the early year performance schedule for John and Joel. All the other dates on the now 11-city schedule were carried over from their postponed fall tour leg. Original tickets from all those concerts will be honored on the rescheduled dates.
The tour was originally sidelined when John fell ill with the flu and a minor infection. However, the remainder of the tour was soon put off due to an undisclosed "medical reason" involving Joel.
