Fall Out Boy, No Doubt to headline 2009 Bamboozle Festival
The fifth annual Bamboozle Festival, set for May 2-3 at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in E. Rutherford, NJ, has tapped Fall Out Boy and No Doubt, respectively, as headliners. The May 3 date is the first confirmed show on No Doubt's 2009 tour, the ska-punk band's first outing in four years.
Three-day ($125), two-day ($110) and VIP festival passes ($300) are on sale now. Single-day tickets ($60) go on sale November 28. A service and facility charge will be added to each ticket.
More than 200 bands representing pop, punk, mainstream, emo and more will perform on 10 stages for two days. In true Bamboozle tradition, festivities will kick off on May 2 with the Annual Parade of Nothing, followed by the 2008 Boozler Pep Rally lead by a special surprise guest.
Returning attractions include the vendor village, Bamboozle TV Studios, and Pass the Mic Comedy Tore. New this year is the Crunk Rock Prom. A Night of Tributes performed by a secret lineup will be revealed soon.
