Jean Henegan

Jean Henegan joined the TicketNews family via the recommendation of close friend and fellow writer Brian Thompson and couldn’t be happier. A 2008 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a double major in English and History, Jean will be honing her legal reporting skills while attending the Seton Hall University School of Law beginning in the fall of 2008. She hopes that her three year stint in law school will allow her to become a practicing attorney specializing in child advocacy. A Chicago native, the move to the east coast will put her closer to the ticketing action, as well as closer to her beloved Broadway, where she will without a doubt be spending all her down time.

In addition to covering legalistic and legislative issues in the ticketing world, Jean also writes the bi-weekly onsales articles, offering up the most interesting ticketing opportunities of the week to the hungry masses, as well as a monthly article re-capping the competitive rankings of top monthly primary and secondary ticketing websites. When not heading out to see the latest play or musical, Jean enjoys spending time with friends and family, kicking back with a good book, or simply watching some television. An eternal optimist, Jean is also a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, and sincerely believes that this is finally their year.
