MSG Entertainment expands speaker series to Boston and Chicago
Due to the overwhelming success of last year’s inaugural "Speaker Series" that premiered at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, this unique political forum will expand in 2009 to include Boston and Chicago. MSG Entertainment's "Speaker Series: The Minds That Move The World" will also return to Radio City Music Hall four nights in March-May; the Boston and Chicago line-ups are yet to be released.
The four timely evenings are Bill Maher and Ann Coulter on March 9; Anderson Cooper interviewing Arianna Huffington, D.L. Hughley and former Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee on March 31; Former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno, Alberto Gonzales and John Ashcroft on April 20; and Charlie Rose interviewing James Carville and former Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove on May 26.
Tickets go on-sale on January 11, with prices ranging from $49.50 to $179.50.
"MSG Entertainment is proud to present our second speaker series as we expand these highly charged and relevant political events to Boston and Chicago during one of the most exciting and, at times, controversial political landscapes of our time," said Melissa Miller Ormond, COO, MSG Entertainment, in a statement. "Featuring a distinguished group of political figures, we hope that the 'Speaker Series: The Minds That Move The World' will not only provide guests with an informative and empowering experience that will help them make educated political decisions, but also encourage people to engage in continued dialogue surrounding the most significant current events of our day."
Last year's inaugural series featured Anderson Cooper, Tucker Carlson, James Carville and Arianna Huffington, Vice President Al Gore, former presidential candidates Rudy Giuliani and John Edwards, the late Tim Russert and President Bill Clinton.
