Musink Tattoo & Music Festival set for mid-February
A distressed economy might have caused the collapse of the inaugural Musink Tattoo & Music Festival tour before it ever launched, but it is not preventing the second annual three-day tattoo convention and music festival.
Set for February 20-22 at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, CA, Musink will feature headliners Reverend Horton Heat, Atreyu and Danzig with more than 200 of the world's most renowned tattoo artists along with professional BMX and skate demonstrations throughout the day. Tickets are $25 and go on sale January 10.
"The OC Musink festival is going to be one of those 'career' sets for Rev. Horton Heat," said Jim "Reverend Horton" Heath in a statement. "It's going to be a must-see for our fans. I also plan on partying until I pass out on the lawn. As Ernest Tubb would say, 'Thanks, thanks a lot.'"
Making its debut in February 2008 in Orange County, CA, Musink Tattoo Convention and Music Festival sold out with over 13,000 people in attendance for the three-day lifestyle event. Musical headliners The Used, Tiger Army and Metal Skool were joined by over 200 of the best tattoo artists from around the world.
