Following a brief nine-city North American tour from August 26 to September 9, Oasis will head home to the UK for a 14-show, seven-city tour, starting on October 7 in Liverpool, England, and winding down on October 30 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Each engagement is a two-night stand at the same venue. Tickets go on sale on October 20.
Oasis then crosses the pond for three shows in Mexico, November 26-29. The initial North American leg contains only one U.S. stop (Seattle, WA), with Canadian shows filling the rest of the itinerary. All tour legs and dates are part of Oasis' current 14-month world tour.
UK ticket buyers using the band's Web site will also be able to pre-order the first single ("The Shock of the Lightning") from Oasis' forthcoming album, "Dig Out Your Soul," due for an October 6 release.
Oasis will also issue a limited edition box set of the album containing four heavyweight vinyl discs, two CDs, a DVD and hardback. The package includes nine bonus tracks, remixes and films recorded during studio sessions.
