Second Annual Ticket Summit: Expect Nothing but the Best!
By Crystal Astrachan
Ticket Summit 2007, Ticket Network’s second annual secondary ticket market conference and trade show, will unite experts and leaders from diverse backgrounds in an effort to enhance the secondary ticket market. From July 17th through 19th, approximately 1000 attendees will find boundless networking and educational opportunities through panels, luncheons, and exhibitions at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. With two months to go, the list of registered attendees for Ticket Summit 2007 has already surpassed last year’s attendance record . . .
In addition to attracting experts from the primary ticket market (Ticketmaster, Tickets.com, Shubert Organization) and the secondary ticket market (eBay, StubHub, RazorGator, TicketLiquidator, and TicketNetwork), Ticket Summit will unite a wide range of professionals. Las Vegas event producers and casinos (AEG Worldwide, Blue Man Group, The Venetian, David Saxe Productions, Las Vegas Hilton, Legends in Concert, Rio, Sahara, and Wynn Las Vegas) will make their mark. Furthermore, professionals from Bank of America, Arizona State University, ControlScan, and Hacker Safe by Scan Alert will contribute. On the lighter side, attendees can expect live entertainment; the details will be released soon. With such a wide range of attendees and events, Ticket Summit will be the most sensational ticket industry event of the year.
According to Stephen Kobelski, Executive Director of Ticket Summit, “setting a new attendance record this early is amazing. Ticket Summit 2007 will attract twice as many people. Our 2006 show generated an enthusiastic response. I think people had a great experience last year and recognize that we are putting a lot of effort into making the 2007 show even better. We already have a world-class lineup of speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors, and should be making some major announcements in the near future.”
The $495 discounted price of the full conference pass will be available until July 6th; after this date, the price of admission will rise to $595. For detailed information on Ticket Summit, including hotel information, please visit http://www.ticketsummit.org.
