Several more first-time speakers sign up for Ticket Summit
Continuing to build on their momentum to attract new speakers, the organizers of Ticket Summit Las Vegas this week announced three more first-time participants for the trade show and conference.
Speaking at the event for the first time will be Diane Lancaster Gibes, president of PRSA Las Vegas, which is the Las Vegas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America; Mark Guarino, an editor and analyst with the consumer, media and market research company Mintel; and from the UK, Dominic Titchener-Barrett, managing director of DTB International Ltd., a sports hospitality and event ticketing company.
Lancaster Gibes will be speaking on the public relations panel; Guarino will be among the keynoters for a look at how the economy is affecting secondary ticketing; and Titchener-Barrett will be speaking on the international ticketing panel.
Ticket Summit is the nation's largest trade show and convention dedicated to secondary ticket industry, and brings together hundreds of ticket brokers and other ticketing professionals each year. The July 15-17 show, which will be held at Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, marks the fourth straight year the conference has been held in Las Vegas. TicketNetwork, parent company of both Ticket Summit and TicketNews, also successfully launched a second version of Ticket Summit in New York City earlier this year, which will also become an annual event.
"It is a true testament to this event that each year we're able to offer the event's attendees the opportunity to hear new perspectives," said Dan Pullium, Government Affairs Director for TicketNetwork and one of the organizers of Ticket Summit. "We've offered a unique and diverse group of speakers each year, and 2009 will be no different."
