TicketNetwork receives Deloitte Fast 50 award for corporate growth
Two months after TicketNetwork was ranked number twenty seven on the prestigious "Inc. 5000" list of innovative and fast-growing companies for 2008, the company was ranked first on the Deloitte Fast 50 list for corporate growth in the New York Metropolitan area.
"To rank on Deloitte's Technology Fast 50, companies must have phenomenal revenue growth over five years," Technology Fast 50 Program Director, Deloitte Services LP, Kevin Buckley said in a press release. "TicketNetwork has proven to be one of the fast-growth success stories in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut and we applaud their dedication to making their vision a reality."
The Deloitte Fast 50, a subset of the Fast 500, recognizes the 50 fastest growing technology companies in a given geographic area. TicketNetwork has achieved 111,580 percent growth over the last five years.
In addition to receiving this honor, TicketNetwork was also named one of the finalists for the UHY LLP Connecticut Tech Top 40 award, which recognizes the state's fastest growing companies based on revenue growth over the last four years.
"The entire TicketNetwork team is ecstatic and deeply honored in being recognized for our efforts in successfully growing a business from the ground-up and rapidly establishing multiple revenue channels in a highly dynamic, expanding sector," Don Vaccaro, CEO of TicketNetwork, said in a statement.
"The secondary ticket market has evolved into a solid, reputable industry due to the transparencies of the Web and legislative changes on state levels. TicketNetwork has been positioned at the forefront of this evolution, by providing ticket brokers with software to make their businesses more efficient and profitable. The brokers' embracement of our web-based technology has enabled us to aggregate their ticket inventory online and become one of the leading web sites providing tickets for consumer purchase. We thank Deloitte and the Connecticut Technology Council for these tremendous accolades," Vaccaro added.
