Van Halen postpones two shows
Did a recent fracas in Charlottesville, VA cause Van Halen to postpone two concerts: Feb. 22 in Charlottesille, VA and Feb. 25 in Duluth, GA? The band, whose current reunion tour has consistently been among the hottest concert tickets of the past six months, has not made an official announcement, but its fan website appears to harbor some clues. Van Halen's press representative did not respond to inquiries from TicketNews, while representatives from Live Nation, the tour’s promoter, said they were investigating the cause of the postponements.
However, Van Halen's fan website reports what it calls a rumor: "We have had two unsubstantiated reports from the Charlottesville area that the members of Van Halen were in a bar called Rapture on Thursday the 21st, and it was reported that Wolfgang got into an altercation with someone, which precipitated fighting within the band at the nightclub. It reportedly got heated and apparently this caused the abrupt postponement of the shows in Charlottesville and Atlanta."
Van Halen's next scheduled concert is slated for March 3 in Dallas, TX, and the band is planning to do shows through April 19 in Las Vegas, a newly added date. It is a benefit for the Tiger Woods Foundation Tiger Jam XI presented by AT&T at The Mandalay Bay Events Center to help raise funds for the Tiger Woods Foundation and select Las Vegas-based charities. The evening's highlights will include top notch epicurean fare and exclusive live and silent auctions featuring unique items. Individual ticket prices start at $125.

Eddies ex is Dallas today signing her book at a local bookstore. Could there be something to that? I can just say that I am very disappointed about this. I am a Van Halen fan from the beginning and hope to see this reunion happen. Just one last time is all I ask of the guys.
