Tickets to concerts from this season's American Idols, and Good Charlotte, are on sale throughout the weekend ending May 19, as compiled by TicketNews.
As announced by Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday evening's American Idol broadcast, tickets to this summer's American Idol Live tour go on sale tomorrow morning, May 17. The reality show's top ten finalists will tour the country, singing songs that they sang on the show, as well as showcasing the country's newest winner, who will be announced next week. Popular rockers Good Charlotte are teaming up with the up-and-coming rock group Boys Like Girls for a national tour this summer as well. Tickets for several of their tour stops are on sale throughout the weekend.

Tickets to concerts from Coldplay and Madonna are on sale throughout the week ending May 17, as compiled by TicketNews.
The British rock group Coldplay has three shows in the week's onsales, including stops in Las Vegas and Cleveland. The Material Girl herself has multiple ticket pre-sales beginning Monday May 12 and continuing throughout the week. Regular ticket sales to Madonna's concerts begin Saturday morning, with shows in Chicago and Boston on sale to the general public.

The Material Girl kicks off her national tour this summer following the release of her latest album “Hard Candy.” Tickets to what is sure to be one of the hottest shows of the year will be on presale beginning Monday, May 12. Also going on sale Monday are tickets to Tina Turner’s latest concert tour. The singer will have several tour stops, including concerts in Chicago, Miami, and Boston on sale. Monday's onsales also mark the return of wildly popular early '90’s teen heartthrobs New Kids on the Block. The boy band, now all grown up, will re-unite for a national concert tour, with shows in Toronto, Boston, and New Jersey on sale Monday, with other dates continuing to go on sale in upcoming weeks.

Two Broadway productions, Cry Baby and A Catered Affair, are offering irresistible deals for theater fans for performances scheduled for Saturday, May 10.
A search on Ticketmaster.com on Tuesday, May 6, turned up center orchestra tickets for "Cry Baby" at $120 a piece, not including convenience and shipping charges. On TicketLiquidator, the same center orchestra Cry Baby tickets are selling for $98 each, minus convenience and shipping charges.

Concerts from Celine Dion and tickets to the 2008 Teen Choice Awards top the onsales for the week ending May 10th, as compiled by TicketNews.
Canadian songstress Dion, who wrapped up a hugely successful Las Vegas residency in December, has two upcoming tour stops on sale this weekend, with tickets available on Saturday to a show in Toronto, and tickets to her concert in New Orleans also available over the weekend. The week also offers concerts from Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, and Steely Dan.

The month of April saw the continued dominance of Ticketmaster.com and StubHub.com, as compiled within TicketNews’s weekly power rankings of the internet’s top primary and secondary ticketing websites.
The primary ticketing website rankings saw Ticketmaster taking the top spot throughout the month, followed by LiveNation.com, Tickets.com, Ticketweb.com, and Etix.com rounding out the top five. With a power score of 73, Ticketmaster dominated the online ticket market throughout April. Their closet competitor, Live Nation, only maintained a
power score of 11.

Both the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners have lost more games than they have won so far this season, and with the Yankees hosting the Mariners at the Stadium this weekend, both teams will be looking to start playing .500 ball. And this week's Steals and Deals has a bargain on Yankees tickets for this weekend.
A check of broker websites late this week turned up Field Championship tickets for Saturday's game on sale at Coasttocoasttickets.com. The Field Championship tickets, in boxes 1-52, are selling for $118 in addition to convenience and other charges. The full season ticket holder face value for a similar ticket is $250, not including fees. Boxes 54-80 are selling for $92 plus charges on Coasttocoasttickets.com. On game day, these same tickets would sell for $400 and $240, respectively, plus charges.
