Aerosmith has postponed two more shows — July 7 and July 9 — for a total of five concerts. The postponements are due to an unspecified injury suffered by frontman Steven Tyler.

The new postponements on July 7 at Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion in Raleigh, NC, and July 9 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre Charlotte in Charlotte, NC, join three previously announced postponements on July 1 at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, OH; July 3 at Hershey Park Stadium in Hershey, PA; July 5 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, VA.

Rescheduled dates are expected to be announced soon, according to a post on the band’s Web site. All tickets for the originally scheduled concerts will be honored at the rescheduled shows.

The next scheduled stop on their tour with ZZ Top is July 11 at Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa, FL, with guitarist Brad Whitford back on board after recovering from an earlier surgery. The tour continues through September 16 at Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, MI.
