The Allman Brothers Band dropped news of three more concert dates for the group’s upcoming fall tour. The venture is the first for the veteran Southern rock group since founding member Gregg Allman received a liver transplant earlier in the summer.

The East Coast trek now includes stops on November 12 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC; November 15 at Palace Theatre in Albany, NY; and November 16 at MGM Grand Theater in Mashantucket, CT. With the addition of these dates, the tour itinerary now features eight stops in six cities.

Public ticket sales for the trio of dates are spread through mid-September. Tickets for DAR Constitution Hall go on sale September 17; Palace Theatre onsales begin September 18; and the MGM Grand Theater box office opens September 10.

Ticket pricing information has not been announced by the artist, venues or primary ticket seller Ticketmaster.com. Other shows on the tour have ticket prices ranging anywhere from $49.50 up to $150, depending on the venue.

The Southern rock veterans’ previously confirmed shows on November 11 in Upper Darby, PA, and November 18-20 in Boston, MA, have sold out, according to their official Web site. Another gig stop on November 13 in Atlantic City, NJ, isn’t starting public onsales until September 4.

Allman’s June 23 liver transplant was a long time coming for the musician, who was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 2007. In the years since his diagnosis, he underwent a series of treatments for the disease, but the side effects occasionally sidelined the Allman Brothers’ tour plans.

Since his transplant, Allman has reportedly made a quick recovery. At the time of his transplant, he said in a statement, “I changed my ways years ago, but we can’t turn back time. Every day is a gift, and I can’t wait to get back on the road making music with my friends.”
