TicketNews has released its exclusive events rankings for the week ending Sunday, November 14, and this week Bon Jovi took top honors on the list, power scoring a 5.85. With the long time rockers starting yet another North American leg of their “Circle” tour in February, ticket sales took the group to number one in the rankings, with the holiday favorite Radio City Christmas Spectacular coming in a close second (4.89).

After recovering last week to take the number two spot, top Broadway seller Wicked was knocked back once again to number three (3.98). “Wicked” was joined on the list by the blockbuster musical Lion King, which finished the week at number seven (1.79).

Other musical artists making it into the top ten this week included U2 (four, 2.83), Roger Waters (five, 2.09), seasonal favorites the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (six, 1.84), Justin Bieber (eight, 1.75) and Usher (nine, 1.73).

The sole sports event to finish in the top ten this week was the 2010 SEC Championship, with sales for Auburn Tigers tickets hitting at number ten (1.49). The Tigers play the South Carolina Gamecocks at the Georgia Dome on December 4.

TicketNews Exclusive Rankings and Power Scores are based on ticket sales from the TicketNetwork ExchangeTM, the world’s largest secondary market exchange. Two factors are used to calculate a power score: total ticket sales from the given event and total ticket sales within the category. Since the sum of all events’ power scores equals 100 in any given category, an individual event’s Power Score represents its category-specific significance. Top Seller Power Scores should only be used to compare sellers within a particular category, and not across categories.
