Ronnie Dunn’s severe respiratory condition has forced country duo Brooks & Dunn to cancel and postpone three consecutive shows — September 11 at the York County Fair in York, PA; September 12 in Pittsburgh, PA; and September 13 in Chicago, IL.

The group’s concerts with ZZ Top and special guest Rodney Atkins in Pittsburgh and Chicago have been rescheduled with back-to-back shows: The Pittsburgh concert is now October 15; the Chicago gig is October 16.

On their Web site, Dunn was quoted in a statement: “I’m sitting here sick, pretty bummed out, with no voice.”

Ticketholders to the postponed Pittsburgh and Chicago shows can use their tickets for the rescheduled concerts. Previously selected Meet & Greet guests will also be honored on the rescheduled dates. The York County Fair tickets can be refunded at the point of purchase.

The September 13 show was previously the final scheduled concert featuring Brooks & Dunn along with ZZ Top before the two continued on separate tours. Brooks & Dunn, already multiple-award winners, were recently nominated for two Country Music Association awards — Album of the Year and Duo of the Year.
