Summary by Jan Piper, TicketNews

Both Carly Rae Jepsen and Fran Drescher will be extending their Broadway runs in the popular musical Cinderella through June 8. Both women were originally planning on staying until the end of next month, but they decided to extend their Broadway debut to continue playing Cinderella and the wicked stepmother until the beginning of June. They will each be taking some time off from performances, however, due to previous engagements. Drescher will not be performing between April 28 and May 5. Jepsen will not be performing between May 16 and May 20. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella is a hilarious take on the original story, and it has been a continued success as it enters its second year on stage at the Broadway Theatre in New York.
