Dave Stewart, born in Sunderland, England in 1952, is an English musician and record producer best known for his musical duo with Annie Lennox, called Eurythmics. Eurythmics is considered one of the most consistent pop-rock duos of the 80’s. The two split in 1990, reunited in 1999 for their album “Peace” and a world tour, and worked again together in 2005 to record two tracks that were part of the greatest hits package “Ultimate Collection.” Once Eurythmics split in 1990, Stewart released a solo album with the Spiritual Cowboys.

Another one of Stewart’s musical strengths was his ability to collaborate with other artists to produce both singles and full albums. Some of these musicians include Gwen Stefani, Jon Bon Jovi, Mick Jagger, Bono and Katy Perry. His most recent success was in 2008 with the release of his albums “The Dave Stewart Songbook Vol. 1” and “Let’s Do It Again”, as well as his collaboration albums “Liverpool 8”, co-written by Ringo Starr, and “One of the Boys”, co-written by Katy Perry.
