Diana Krall is a jazz vocalist and pianist from Canada. After studying at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Krall relocated to New York City in 1990 to pursue a music career. In 1993, she produced her first album, “Stepping Out,” which was followed by “Only Trust Your Heart” in 1995. However, it was not until 1996 that she got her big break, when her third album, “All for You: A Dedication to the Nat King Cole Trio,” was nominated for a Grammy award. Over the next decade, she recorded several other albums, winning a Jazz Vocal Performance Grammy in 1999 and a Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2002.

Krall was married in 2003 to British musician Elvis Costello, with whom she co-wrote several songs on her 2004 album, “The Girl in the Other Room.” They have twin boys, born December 6, 2006. Krall is also an honorary board member of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, in memory of her mother, who died in 2002.
