Jewel is an American Grammy award-winning musician. Her first album, “Pieces of You,” launched her to superstardom in 1995, hitting 12x platinum in the U.S. She followed up in 1998 with “Spirit,” which went quadruple platinum. Over the next several years, she released six more studio albums, most recently “Lullaby” in 2009. She has tried out different musical styles over the course of her career, releasing her first country album, “Perfectly Clear,” in 2008. The album reached #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
In September 2009, Jewel announced plans for an acoustic tour at the end of the year. The venture includes 15 cities throughout the east coast and Midwest. She also started work on a new studio album as a follow-up to “Perfectly Clear.”
