Matchbox Twenty, a successful rock band that originated in Orlando, Florida, consists of the four members lead singer Rob Thomas, lead guitarist Kyle Cook, rhythm guitarist Paul Doucette, and bass guitarist Brian Yale. Their albums, “Yourself or Someone Like You” (1997), “Mad Season” (2000) and “More Than You Think You Are” (2002), sold over 45 million copies worldwide. After taking a break from the road for four years, they released their latest album, “Exile on Mainstream” (2007), which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

During their four year break from the road, Rob Thomas released his own solo album, “…Something to Be” (2005), which topped the U.S. Billboard 200 at No. 1 in its first week. Once they returned as a group in 2007 with their album’s hit singles “How Far We’ve Come” and “These Hard Times”, Matchbox Twenty toured the U.S. in early 2008 with Alanis Morissette.
