Irish music ensemble Celtic Woman recently completed a five-month, 72-city tour of the U.S., but the quintet’s stateside venture doesn’t end there. The Celtic music group will launch a second national trek later this fall, which includes an additional 35 concerts.

The two-month venture opens October 7 at Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, IL, and wraps up November 22 at Terrace Theater in Long Beach, CA. The musical troupe is also slated for gig stops on October 10 at The Centre in Evansville, IL; October 23 at William B. Bell Auditorium in Augusta, GA; November 1 at Palace Theatre in Columbus, OH; and November 14 at The Plaza Theatre in El Paso, TX, among other dates.

15 for $15 with Napster!Onsales for the October leg of the venture start next week and continue through the end of August. Tickets for most, but not all, November dates go on sale to the public September 21. More detailed ticketing information can be found at Celtic Woman’s official Web site.

Comprised of vocalists Chloë Agnew, Lynn Hilary, Lisa Kelly and Alex Sharpe, as well as fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt, the Celtic Woman quintet is still supporting its fourth album, “Celtic Woman: The Greatest Journey.” Released in October 2008, the album is a compilation of the group’s 2005 self-titled debut and 2007 album “A New Journey,” but it also includes a few new tracks.

In addition to the group’s standards and fan favorites, Celtic Woman has debuted another new song titled “O, America!” on its recent tours of the U.S.

“‘O, America!’ is a dedication to you to thank you for being the first country to embrace us as Celtic Woman,” explained Agnew, according to an official Web site devoted to the song. “We feel as though we are part of your family now and for that we are very honored and proud. You are our true inspiration!”

The 2009 Isle of Hope Tour launched in the U.S. at the start of the year with a February 13 concert at the Theater at Xcel in St. Paul, MN, and concluded just last month with a July 1-2 stand at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO.
