Michael Jackson’s concert-threatening lawsuit and Miley Cyrus’s VIP ticket sales are under the microscope in the daily tour recap for June 12, as compiled by TicketNews.

True to its word, New Jersey concert promoter AllGood Entertainment has filed a lawsuit against Michael Jackson, his manager Frank Dileo and the London residency promoter AEG Live. The complaint calls for a permanent injunction against the performer’s upcoming 50-show extravaganza, as well as a minimum of $20 million in compensation and another $20 million minimum for punitive damages.

For ticket buyers with young Miley Cyrus fans in their life, an option has emerged that allows a buyer to transfer ticket ownership to a specifically named “attendee,” an option not available with the tour’s standard paperless ticket purchases. … After his embarrassing run-in with a descending stage prop on the recent Tony Awards, Poison frontman Bret Michaels was forced to postpone a single concert so he could undergo a close medical evaluation. … Finally, the Discovery Times Square Exposition will give New York City’s residents and sightseers a glimpse at history when it opens its “Titanic” and “Lucy’s Legacy” exhibits later this month.

Those are the complete reports for this Friday. Before you turn your calendar to the weekend, read on for more concert and tour updates in brief. You never know what could fit into your schedule…
