Coldplay announced today its plans to tour South America and Mexico at the start of the New Year. The seven-date schedule begins February 26 at Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires, ARG, and ends March 11 at Estadio Universitario in Monterrey, MEX. Additional performances on the Brit band’s latest run include February 28 at Praca da Apoteose in Rio De Janeiro, BRA, and March 6 at Foro Sol in Mexico City, MEX.

Buddy Guy is teaming up with fellow bluesman Jonny Lang for a handful of April 2010 concerts. The pair is inked into six dates at the moment, all of which are set for the Canadian provinces. The schedule runs from April 11 at Thunder Bay Community Auditorium in Thunder Bay, ON, through April 18 at the Centre for Performing Arts in Vancouver, BC.

Emmylou Harris is out on the road this month for a round of concerts in the U.S. and Canada. Originally limited to October — from an October 1 show at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA, to an October 27 gig at Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, WI — the tour will now stretch through the middle part of November. New shows have been lined up from November 11 at Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary, AB, through November 20 at Macky Auditorium Concert Hall in Boulder, CO, according to the musician’s itinerary.

Saul Williams will hit the streets of North America with nearly 20 late fall 2009 shows. The performer’s schedule picks up October 21 at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza in New York, NY, and continues through a November 17 gig at Venue in Vancouver, BC. The coast-to-coast jaunt also includes performances on October 26 at Magic Stick in Detroit, MI; November 4 at The Loft in Atlanta, GA; and November 13 at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, CA.

Mason Jennings begins his latest tour of North America next week, which has been extended with a handful of new performances. The tour begins October 9 at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY, and ends November 21 at Majestic Theatre in Madison, WI.
