Today’s tour recap includes itineraries for solo endeavors, reunion tours and more as compiled by TicketNews on October 23, 2008.

Earlier in the day, we ran full stories on several upcoming tours, including Gregg Allman‘s solo tour, which is set to begin in late December and run through the New Year. Allman toured with the iconic Allman Brothers Band late in the summer after treatments for Hepatitis C kept him off the road earlier in the year. But with the treatments behind him and the disease cleared, Allman says he feels great.

The Strokes’ drummer Fabrizio Moretti will soon be launching the debut tour of his solo side project, Little Joy, a band where he does more than just keep the beat. … Soul singer Anthony Hamilton will begin his latest tour in November following the release of his sixth studio album, “The Point of It All.” … And last, but certainly not least, the irreverent swing revival band of the mid-’90s, the Squirrel Nut Zippers are going out on the road for the second time since they reunited in 2007. Before that, their last tour was in support of 2000’s “Bedlam Ballroom.”

Those are the complete tour itineraries and reports for the day, but you can find more tour and concert news in brief below. Read on!

Currently on tour with Sara Bareilles, singer-songwriter Marc Broussard has a new block of solo shows coming up in December.
