Kings of Leon have been burning up the charts with their latest release, and now the group is on the road with its first headlining arena tour of the U.S. The national tour continues this summer with more major amphitheatre dates, as well as headlining sets at the UK’s famous Reading and Leeds Festivals.

The reunion is under way for Limp Bizkit, with a 25-city tour of Europe sorted out for late spring and summer. … Acclaimed and eccentric musician Les Claypool, best known for his work with Primus, has a new headlining tour penciled in for summer, including a few dates with Matisyahu. … Major hip-hop radio festival Hot 97 Summer Jam will hit the old Giants Stadium for the last time on June 7 as the new stadium enters the final stages of construction. … Just two months after closing its doors due to slow ticket sales, the Music Mill has reopened its doors under new management in Indianapolis, IN.

Depeche Mode will stay on the road through the end of the year for its current Tour of the Universe — but no interplanetary destinations are charted yet. Instead, the 81-date tour has added more late 2009 gigs in Europe, as well as two early 2010 gigs in Russia. New concert dates include October 31 at Kopi Arena in Oberhausen, GER; November 23 at Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, FRA; and December 6 at Hallenstadion in Zurich, SWI. Russia’s 2010 shows are February 4 at SKK Arena in St. Petersburg and February 6 at Olympiiski in Moscow. The tour launches May 5 at Rockhal in Luxemboug City, LUX.

John Legend has added one more show to the calendar for his upcoming summer tour of the U.S. and Canada. The new gig falls near the end of the run, on August 8 at Contellation Brands – Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (or CMAC) in Canandaigua, NY. The now-19-city outing begins June 27 at Muskegon Summer Celebration in Muskegon, MI, and ends September 1 at Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Kohn has also extended its European touring plans with a handful of new shows this summer. Additional shows are inked for June 22 at Razzmatazz in Barcelona, SPA; June 23 at La Riviera in Madrid, SPA; June 24 at Poll Anceta in San Sebastian, SPA; July 7 at DS Yubileyni in St. Petersburg, RUS; and July 8 at Gorky Park in Moscow, RUS. Korn continues its U.S. trek on April 25 at Tucson Electric Park in Tucson, AZ.

Counting Crows will hit the roads across the U.S. and Canada this summer for 10 festival and concert appearances. So far, the outing begins on June 26 at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI, and ends August 1 at The Showgrounds at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, TX. The other non-festival concerts are July 17 at Maryhill Winery Amphitheater in Goldendale, WA; July 19 at Table Mountain Casino in Friant, CA; and July 21 at Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Anti-Flag, featured on this summer’s Vans Warped Tour, will perform more than 10 new concerts in Europe before and after that U.S. touring festival makes its run. New international gigs are lined up for May 19 at Tochka Club in Moscow, RUS; May 23 at McCluskys in Kingston, UK; June 19 at Abart Club in Zurich, SWI; August 15 at Poolbar in Feldkirch, AUT; and August 26 at The Sugarmill in Stoke-on-Trent, UK, among other dates.

Steve Earle has unveiled plans for a new 13-date solo tour for late spring and summer, dappled with additional festival and supporting performances. His first solo gig is May 28 at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH, with more dates following through September 6 at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center in Westhampton Beach, NY. The tour is focused on the eastern seaboard, with other dates penciled in for May 29 at Berklee Performance Center in Boston, MA; June 4 at McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ; June 9 at The National in Richmond, VA; June 16 at Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, FL; and July 17 at South Park Amphitheatre in South Park, PA, among other dates.
