Electronic duo The Crystal Method is releasing its latest studio album and supporting the effort with a block of live performances this spring. … Alt-rock band Guster has announced plans for its fourth annual Campus Consciousness Tour for spring 2009. … Indie crew The Shins are lining up a spring tour of their own for the month of May with more than 10 shows currently confirmed. … Finally, the 2009 Bonnaroo Festival has added more performers and comedians to its lineup, including Public Enemy, Ani DiFranco and Jimmy Fallon, among others.

Insomniac browser for ticketing professionals

Merle Haggard has added nearly 10 new performance dates to his 2009 tour itinerary. New concerts have been booked for June 4 at Stafford Centre in Stafford, TX; June 9 at Riverwind Casino in Norman, OK; June 21 at American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi, TX; and July 13 at Oneida Bingo & Casino in Green Bay, WI, among other dates. Haggard’s next performance is April 1 at Wells Fargo center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, CA.

Styx & REO Speedwagon have added seven addition co-headlining dates to their summer tour plans. New start and end dates have been booked for May 12 at Amarillo Civic Center in Amarillo, TX, and July 12 at Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, IA. In between, stops have been added for June 2 at San Antonio Municipal Auditoroium in San Antonio, TX; June 23 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD; June 24 at PNC Band Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ; July 1 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT; and July 5 at Wheeling Island in Wheeling, WV.

Foreigner has extended its U.S. tour plans by adding a few dates to the upcoming spring leg, as well as unveiling another leg for late summer and early fall. New spring dates include an April 3 show at Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, LA, a May 2 gig at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, RI, and May 15 at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Red Wing, MN. The summer leg picks up July 30 at the Community Theatre at the Mayo Center for the Performing Arts in Morristown, NJ, and extends through an October 2 concert at Nokia Theatre Times Square in New York, NY.

The Prodigy has lined up a new one-month tour of the U.S. for May. The block of concerts launches with a May 18 performance at 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, and concludes May 30 at WaMu Theater in Seattle, WA. Along the way, the band will stop for a May 20 concert at the House fo Blues in Boston, MA, a May 23 date at Congress Theater in Chicago, IL, and a May 27 performance at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, CA, among other gig stops. The Prodigy has two U.S. dates coming up before an April tour of Europe and the May jaunt across the U.S.: March 26 at Roseland Ballroom in New York, NY, and March 28 at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, FL.

Brian Setzer will tour from coast to coast across the U.S. in late 2009 for a 14-city concert circuit. The outing opens November 20 at MotorCity Casino & Hotel in Detroit, MI, and closes December 22 at Table Mountain Casino in Friant, CA. Along the way, Setzer and his orchestra will perform November 25 at the Sovereign Performing Arts Center in Reading, PA; November 30 at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, NY; December 9 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN; and December 18 at Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, CA, among other bookings.
