Iconic singer-songwriter Brian Wilson will continuing touring behind his new album, “That Lucky Old Sun.” The 11-city November trek features the musician performing the new album in its entirety, plus fan favorites from his catalogue of solo work and Beach Boys material.

Celtic punk rockers the Dropkick Murphys have added a new round of U.S. dates to their itinerary. … If bagpipes and kilts aren’t your thing, check out the tour report for electropop rockers Hot Chip, who are starting the next North American leg of their 2008 Made in the Dark tour. … Classic rockers Little Feat have also added more U.S. dates to their current tour for “Join the Band.”

MGMT has added three New York shows to its fall tour itinerary. The new shows are set for October 10 at United Palace in New York City, October 30 at Webster Hall in New York City, and October 31 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. The next show on the band’s itinerary is tonight (September 19) at Street Scene in San Diego, CA.

New wave rockers stellastarr* have a new run of U.S. shows coming up in late fall/early winter. So far set at eight shows, the trek kicks off November 5 at Great Scott in Allston, MA, and ends with a five-show run from December 2-6 at Pianos in New York City. The other shows currently on the books are November 9 at Rock and roll Hotel in Washington, DC, and November 10 at Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia, PA.

Husband-and-wife duo Mates of State have a good batch of fall shows coming up, including 10 opening spots on Santogold’s current tour. MoS’s trek continues September 25 at Emo’s in Austin, TX, and wraps October 19 at Magic Stick in Detroit, MI. The Santogold dates run September 28-30; and October 1, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, 13, and 14. Highlights for the tour include MoS’s September 16 performance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival at Zilker Park in Austin, TX, and their September 27 gig at the Mdpoint Music Festival in Newport, KY.

Matthew Sweet has added more dates to his U.S. tour itinerary, which runs from October 20 at Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO, through November 26 at El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. The new shows, all set for early November include a November 5 gig at The 8×10 in Baltimore, MD, a November 6 performance at Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia, PA, and a November 7 show at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, NC.

John Doe and Kathleen Edwards have announced plans for a co-headlining tour this fall. The co-headlining tour kicks off November 5 at The National in Richmond, VA, and continues through November 19 at Aladdin Theatre in Portland, OR. Stops along the way include a November 7 performance as a part of WFUV’s Live at Zankel concert series at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and a November 13 gig at El Rey in Los Angeles, CA. Edwards will be on the road separately from September 24 at Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston, NY, through October 5 at Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet, IL, as an opening act for the Indigo Girls.

From the Jam are beginning a fall tour itinerary in North America. The shows kick off September 23 at Showcase Live in Foxboro, MA, and continue through October 11 at Brick by Brick in San Diego, CA. There are two Canadian stops along the way: September 29 at the Montreal Pop Festival at Club Soda in Montreal, QC; and October 1 at the Opera House in Toronto, ON. Notable U.S. gigs include a September 26 show at Gramercy’s Blender Theatre in New York City, and an October 8 show at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA. The band follows the U.S. tour with a December jaunt across the UK.
