EBay has signed on as the “authorized ticket resale provider” for the Live Earth concert in East Rutherford, N.J., July 7th, according to a recent announcement.
EBay will also produce concert memorabilia charity auctions to benefit The Alliance for Climate Protection.
Sellers who donate a minimum of 20 percent of the final sale price of their tickets can also use “EBay Giving Works” – eBay’s charity listing program – to support The Alliance, according to the statement.
“Live Earth is about engaging an unprecedented audience to tackle the urgent challenge of global warming,” Live Earth founder Kevin Wall said. “Our relationship with eBay connects us with its online community of millions and ensures that both original ticket sales and online resales support The Alliance for Climate Protection.”
