Ticket Summit two days away from conference opening
Ticket Summit® is coming up this week, January 18-20, at The Waldorf=Astoria in New York, NY. The three-day conference and trade show will host professionals from all sections of the ticketing and live entertainment industry. The conference schedule includes two Keynotes, panel sessions, a concurrent trade show, and evening networking events.
The conference begins on Wednesday, January 18, with a Networking Cocktail Party and concludes on Friday, January 20, with a Closing Gala at ARENA in Times Square.
Sebastian Aroca, co-founder of Hispanic Market Advisors and speaker on "The Hispanic Ticket Market" panel, told TicketNews that he "is looking to network with attendees, to make contacts, and to answer questions about the Hispanic market" at the networking events.
The panel sessions will cover various topics related to the ticketing industry such as "World of Sports," "Data Mining & Pricing," and "Search Engine Marketing."
"The ticketing space is a very competitive topic in the PPC advertising world," said Ben Kirshner, CEO of Elite SEM and a Ticket Summit speaker, to TicketNews. Kirshner plans on discussing how conversion rates differ by location and time. "All geographies are not created equal," he added.
The conference also features a concurrent trade show with almost 20 exhibiting companies. Exhibitors include DYMO Endicia, Epic Inventory Management, Fan Freedom Project, FanXchange, Mobile Ticket App, PowerPay, Primetix, and RocketPoster.
Ticket Summit's sponsors include PowerPay, Square, TicketGenie.com, Tix City, Transaction Services, and Venues Today.
