Ticketmaster/Live Nation merger: Senate hearing to be webcast
The Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing featuring Irving Azoff , CEO of Ticketmaster Entertainment, and Michael Rapino, President and CEO of Live Nation will be webcast today beginning at 2:30pm EST.

In addition to Azoff and Rapino, others scheduled to speak before the Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights are Jerry Mickelson, Chairman and Executive Vice President of concert promotions giant JAM Productions, and David A. Balto, Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress.
The four will be speaking on the topic “The Ticketmaster/Live Nation Merger: What Does it Mean for Consumers and the Future of the Concert Business?” It is the first of two Congressional hearings scheduled for this week on the proposed merger; the second will take place Thursday, February 26, at 10am EST, and will be conducted by the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts and Competition Policy.
