U.S. draws England in first round of 2010 World Cup
The United States will play against England in the first round of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. According to ESPN, the two teams have not played a World Cup soccer match against each other since 1950, when the U.S. upset their UK opponents 1-0. After opening the tournament against the British, the U.S. will next play Slovenia followed by Algeria.
