The Social in Orlando drops Ticketmaster for TicketFly
Orlando, FL-based nightclub The Social has dropped Ticketmaster as its ticketing provider and switched to TicketFly, the venue announced this week. The nightclub, which said its working relationship with Ticketmaster was good, did not offer specifics for why it moved to TicketFly, but venue said it will allow it to "remain true" to its fans and business. The switch comes a week after the Department of Justice gave its approval for Ticketmaster to merge with concert giant Live Nation.

there is NO reason for any independent club or theater to stay with ticketweb at this point - RUN don't walk to the wide array of alternatives out there.
So much for cheaper fees - I got 40%. Picked a couple of tickets for Jonny Craig at The Social from ticketfly - $10.00 plus $4.00 service charge for each.
please contact me regarding the $4 fee, there was an error on TicketFly's site yesterday, the fee should be a flat $3.75, versus fees of $9.50 from Ticketmaster.
