New Los Angeles NFL stadium draws interest
Several years ahead of the completion of a new stadium, thousands of football fans in the Los Angeles area have reportedly inquired about buying tickets for a new NFL team in the city. According to the San Jose Mercury News, the Web site for the future City of Industry-based stadium, just south of Los Angeles, has received almost a 150,000 requests for tickets, but the stadium is expected to hold about 75,000. Los Angeles has been without an NFL team since the mid-1990s.
