Actor and vocalist Jamie Foxx has expanded his summer 2009 itinerary to include 34 markets across the United States. The Acadamy Award-winning performer initially announced just 10 concert dates from his upcoming Intuition Tour, which is expected to hit 50 cities before it wraps later this year.

The tour officially launches July 3-4 at The Joint in Las Vegas, NV, though Foxx has a couple concerts booked earlier in the summer. Highlights of the still-expanding schedule include gig stops on August 1 at Arie Crown Theater in Chicago, IL; August 20 at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, MA; August 27 at New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA; September 3 at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, SC; and September 17 at Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, VA.

Additional concerts in East and West Coast markets will follow through October, with the last projected date set for October 18 in Phoenix, AZ, according to a report from BET.

Tickets to most of the currently confirmed performances are already on sale. However, presales and public onsales are coming up for a few of the more recent additions to the itinerary. Tickets for Foxx’s show in Uncasville will be available to the public starting tomorrow, June 12. Presales for Boston, Orlando and Greenville begin June 17, followed by public sales on June 19.

Foxx is on the road supporting his third album, “Intuition,” released in December 2008. A supporting act for the summer-long outing has not been announced.
