Jane Cohen

Jane Cohen has been covering the business pulse of the live entertainment industry for more than 20 years. During her 15-year stint at the industry trade magazine Performance, she held various editorial positions, including editor in chief, and represented the magazine at various industry conferences here and abroad. She has been quoted in several publications, including USA Today. Cohen continues her entertainment business coverage for several online and print publications. She regrets not going with the flow when she was mistaken as Sting's masseuse backstage at one of his early solo career arena shows.

The tag team of Cohen and Grossweiner began at Performance, a weekly that pre-dates Pollstar by about a decade, where they penned the popular Bulletin column. They were also instrumental planners and participants of the annual Performance Summit conferences. After Performance folded, they continued the partnership with consumer sites AllStar and Live Daily as well as various music industry trades, including Audience (U.K.), Tour Guide, CelebrityAccess, Encore and now TicketNews.
