After postponing her September 27 show at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan due to “production constraints,” Janet Jackson recently cancelled three more shows due to health reasons.

According to published reports, she was hospitalized at Royal Victoria Hospital on September 29 following the sound check and shortly before her concert at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC. Jackson was discharged after two hours, but her first show in Montreal in seven years was scratched. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Jackson’s October 1 show at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, MA, and October 4 engagement at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, PA were also cancelled to allow her time to fully recover from her ailment. No diagnosis has been released. The Boston show was reportedly not sold out. Refunds for both concerts are available at the point of purchase.

The Auburn Hills concert has been rescheduled on October 28, which is also the end date of her North American leg. The other three concerts have not been rescheduled yet. LL Cool J is supporting Jackson in North America

In March, Jackson was hospitalized for the flu which forced her to cancel a planned appearance on “Saturday Night Live” to promote her latest album, “Discipline.”
