The NCAA Final Four and MLB Spring Training are just two of the events with ticket sales closing during the week ending April 6, as compiled by TicketNews.
College basketball fans have just a few days left to grab tickets for the weekend’s NCAA Men’s Final Four festivities, with various options available for hotel and ticket packages. Tickets are available for the semifinals on April 4, with the UConn Huskies facing off against the Michigan State Spartans and the North Carolina Tar Heels taking on the Villanova Wildcats. The winning teams will then face off on Monday, April 6, for the championship game at Ford Field in Detroit, MI.
As college basketball shutters for the season, Major League Baseball is winding up for its first pitch of the year. Fans have a last chance to watch their favorite clubs warm up during Spring Training this week, such as the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. A number of teams also have exhibition games at home over the weekend, including the New York Mets who face off against the Red Sox at Citi Field in Flushing, NY, on April 3-4.
Several big events are also transpiring this week in the world of music. For the first year ever, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be open to the public on Saturday, April 4, at the Music Hall in Cleveland, OH. Meanwhile, the David Lynch Foundation holds its benefit concert on April 4 with headlining performances by Paul McCartney, Eddie Vedder and Sheryl Crow at Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY. Ending the weekend on Sunday, April 5, country music fans can also get an inside view of the Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
