Scattered concert dates and one festival appearance have cropped up on the calendar of reclusive singer-songwriter Lauryn Hill.

The former leading lady of R&B and hip-hop, who fell out of the public eye in recent years, began a comeback of sorts this year that included four summer dates with the Rock the Bells festival. Now Hill appears poised to follow the comeback trail into 2011 with a growing series of shows booked through the New Year.

Four event dates, under the artist listing of “Ms. Lauryn Hill,” have quietly appeared on Ticketmaster, and various other venues have begun listing dates and selling tickets for the artist, as well.

At the moment, performances can be found for December 19 at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT; December 20 at Wilbur Theatre in Boston, MA; December 22 at Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT; December 27 at Highline Ballroom in New York, NY; December 28 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, MA; January 1 at the Bowery Ballroom in New York, NY; and January 29 at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ.

Public onsales opened in select markets on December 10 and 11. The lowest ticket prices were $42.50 in Atlantic City, and on the high-end prices hit $75 in each of the three New York markets.

In addition to her own tour dates, Hill is scheduled to headline one day of the sixth annual Jazz in the Gardens festival. Hill’s March 19 performance opens the March 19-21 festival, to be held at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

The set list for Hill’s upcoming concerts is unclear. During her summer sets at Rock the Bells, the singer’s setlists drew predominantly from her 1998 debut and only full-length studio effort to date, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.” However, published reports have stated that Hill is working on an album of new material, though a release date has not been set.
