Matchbox Twenty, which has been off the road for the past four years, will start the new year off with a 33-city North American tour. Dubbed Exile In America, the tour will kick off Jan. 25 in Hollywood, FL at Hard Rock Live and wind down March 18 in Las Vegas at the Pearl Theater. Joining the group on the road will be Alanis Morissette and MuteMath.

Matchbox Twenty is touring in support of its hits collection, “Exile On Mainstream” (Atlantic), which debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, while also premiering at #1 on SoundScan’s Current Alternative Albums chart. The tour also marks the band’s new configuration as a foursome since rhythm guitarist Adam Gaynor left the band in 2005. The band has been off the road while frontman Rob Thomas has been promoting his solo album the past three years.

“We’re all completely pumped about getting back together and heading out on the road after all this time, especially since we have a bunch of new songs to play for everyone,” Thomas said in a statement.
