Tickets to upcoming tour stops from the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival are among the onsales for the weekend ending June 18, as compiled by TicketNews®.
Starting off this weekend’s onsales are tickets to this year’s Uproar Festival. The annual hard rock tour, which began in 2010, is scheduled to have performances from Godsmack, Papa Roach, and Staind, among others. Dates on sale throughout the weekend include shows in Atlanta, GA; Tampa, FL; Woodlands, TX; and Chicago, IL.
Continuing the concert onsales are tickets to additional stops on the upcoming tour from Neil Young and Crazy Horse. The concert tour will reunite Young and Crazy Horse, who have worked together off and on since the late 1960s. Concert stops on sale this weekend include shows in Toronto, ON; Vancouver, BC; and Albuquerque, NM.
Rock band Journey has several upcoming concert dates on sale Saturday, June 16. The band, who released their most recent original album last year, will be playing shows in Lafayette, LA; Peoria, IL; and Honolulu, HI. The band also has a concert in Brooklyn, NY among the Friday, June 15 onsales.
British boy band One Direction has a handful of upcoming concert dates on sale this weekend. Currently one of the top selling pop acts, One Direction has concerts in Las Vegas, NV, and Uncasville, CT, on sale Saturday.
Finally this weekend, tickets are on sale for upcoming concert dates from the Stone Temple Pilots. The rock band, which famously broke up in 2002 only to reunite in 2008, will be going on tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Core,” their first studio album. The album, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard chart, was responsible for putting the band on the music map. Dates on sale this weekend include shows in Bethel, NY; Winnipeg, MB; and Calgary, AB.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
