Beyoncé in concert talks with Wynn Las Vegas

By Allison Reitz

After a successful stand in Las Vegas this past summer, Beyoncé could soon return to Sin City for another round of concerts.

The chart-topping R&B singer is in preliminary talks with Wynn Las Vegas to perform at the resort, according to the Associated Press. However, Wynn officials told the AP that a deal does not yet exist, despite speculative media reports to the contrary.

Beyoncé first took the stage at the Wynn's Encore Theatre during the summer as she filmed "I AM...YOURS," her latest live DVD. That four-night engagement, which ran from July 30 through August 2, closed out the North American leg of her I AM... World Tour.

The resort's CEO Steve Wynn briefly mentioned talks with the Beyoncé camp during a press conference with Garth Brooks in October.

While announcing Brooks' emergence from retirement, Wynn said that the Encore Theatre wasn't necessarily looking for other artists to fill its stage during the country performer's off-days. But almost in the same breath, Wynn added that he was in some contact with Beyoncé's camp and was open to any talks that might arise.

"Beyoncé wants to come back. Her dad expressed a desire to come back, which is great of course. She's a wonderful performer," Wynn explained during the October junket, adding later, "[But] there's no need talking about deals you haven't made."

Brooks' deal will put him on stage at the Encore Theatre for four shows per week over the course of 15 weeks per year. The contract is expected to span a total of five years, with the possibility for an extension.

Are they going to require blood and urine samples to enter the venue like the Garth Brooks concerts?

Apparently it is easier to crash a private party at the White House than what it requires to enter a Barf Brooks concert at the WYNN.
