Bumbershoot ticket sales to open as new acts are announced
Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Old 97's, Cold War Kids, the Helio Sequence and the Portland Cello Project are among the latest acts added to the 39th annual Bumbershoot Festival to be held September 5-7 at the Seattle Center in Seattle, WA.
The festival's Insider Deals offers for $60 three-day passes and $25 single day-specific tickets, made available to BumberFan Club members, have already sold out. Single day-specific tickets are $35 through August 21 and $50 thereafter. Advance three-day passes are $80 through August 21 and $120 thereafter and are available through the official Bumbershoot Web site, and beginning on July 21 at Ticketmaster outlets.
Tickets may be purchased without a service fee beginning July 21 through Destee-Nation Shirt Company. Seniors 65 will be admitted for $15 at the gate with a valid ID.
Some of the other numerous music acts performing include the Black Eyed Peas, Sheryl Crow, Modest Mouse, Jason Mraz, The All-American Rejects, Katy Perry, Michael Franti & Spearhead, and Franz Ferdinand.
There will also be three comedy stages as well as dance, visual arts, literary arts, film and other artistic presentations.
