Elton John, Billy Joel tour restarts in November with new concerts
Elton John and Billy Joel tickets have been a hot item through 2009 as the pair of pianists have relaunched their collaborative Face 2 Face Tour in North America. This fall, the dynamic duo will be back on the road with their latest co-headlining leg, complete with a handful of new tour dates.
The tour starts up again with a pair of shows on November 4 and 7 at KeyArena in Seattle, WA. The final date of the late 2009 leg is currently set for December 7 at Times Union Center in Albany, NY, but more North American shows are expected to follow in 2010 in addition to a European jaunt.
Four new concert dates have been injected near the end of the nearly five-week itinerary. The most recent updates are for shows on November 22 at Pepsi Center in Denver, CO; November 25 at Ford Center in Oklahoma City, OK; November 28 at Verizon Arena in Little Rock, AR; and December 1 at Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.
Ticket sales for all four new performances will go on sale this Saturday, October 24, according to Ticketmaster. Presales for the Elton John fan club, The Rocket Club, begin October 23.
The November outing is the latest joint endeavor for John and Joel, who first began performing on stage together with a 1994-95 Face 2 Face Tour leg. In addition to their initial March 2009 tour leg, the pair also completed dates in May and July.
At the start of onsales for the March performances, John and Joel grabbed the No. 1 spot on TicketNews' exclusive Top Events rankings. Over the following weeks, the pair also helped many of their host venues attain positions in the similar Top Venues rankings.
