Gymnastics Superstars tour U.S. after Olympics
Hot on the heels of their Olympic wins, the United States’ greatest gymnasts will head home from China for a 34-city sports and music tour.
The Tour of Gymnastics Superstars kicks off on September 7 in Reno, NV, and ends November 16 in Kansas City, MO. The nationwide trek pairs gymnastics routines with live music provided by some of Disney's biggest tween stars.
2008 All-Around gold medalist and nine-time World Championship medalist Nastia Liukin, reigning World Champion and 2008 All-Around silver medalist Shawn Johnson, 2005 All-Around World Champion Chellsie Memmel and Olympic medalist Morgan Hamm will join Paul Hamm, Shannon Miller, Blaine Wilson and the rest of the U.S. gymnastics team for The 2008 Tour of Gymnastics Superstars.
In addition to athletic routines, the show will feature songs from the Walt Disney Records' "Disney Girlz Rock 2" CD and live performances from teen singers Jordan Pruitt and KSM.
