Cher, who announced her retirement from touring in 2005 but not from performing, will headline the 4,100-seat Colosseum in Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas for approximately 200 shows over a three-year period beginning May 6. The 90-minute show will be presented four nights a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Cher will share theater time with Bette Midler, who begins her stint Feb. 20. Cher will take center stage May 6-June 1 and Aug. 12-31, while Midler is booked June 24-July 27.

Cher's performance agreement is in partnership with AEG Live, the same producers behind Celine Dion’s recently ended 5-year residency.

The show will feature countless hits from the award-winning singer/actress’ unparalleled career that spans 25 albums and more than 100 million records sold worldwide. Doriana Sanchez will choreograph the show, which will also boast state-of-the-art lighting and special effects and costumes designed by Cher’s longtime designer, Bob Mackie.

"I started in Vegas at Caesars, so I've come full circle," Cher said in a statement. "I'm back and I plan to give my fans the best experience yet. I think everybody knows I only do things in a big way."
