Janet Jackson tour date cancellations and postponements continue
Having already cancelled four concerts recently, Janet Jackson has postponed three more shows because of an undisclosed illness. Affected shows are October 4 in Greensboro, NC; October 5 in Atlanta, GA; and October 7in Fort Lauderdale, FL. All refunds are available at the point of purchase, but ticket holders have been advised that tickets can be used for rescheduled shows.
Jackson tried to perform at Greensboro after arriving at the city, but a local doctor advised her not to perform until she was fully recovered from her illness. Her next scheduled show is October 11 at the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, CT.
Jackson postponed her September 27 concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, MI, due to "production constraints." The rescheduled date is October 28, which is also the end date of her North American leg.
She then cancelled three shows: September 29 in Montreal, QC, for which she was hospitalized for a few hours after becoming ill just before showtime; October 1 in Boston, MA; and October 4 in Philadelphia, PA, due to continued illness. None of these shows have been rescheduled yet.
Jackson has been on tour for the first time in seven years.
