Jonas Brothers drive LiveNation.com
The Jonas Brothers have become the most popular band ever on the relatively new LiveNation.com when 1.45 million visitors accessed the site for their information and tickets last week, setting a new record for a single artist on the website, according to Live Nation. Jonas Brothers' "Burning Up Tour," which is set to hit cities across North America this summer, went on sale March 29.
"Jonas Brothers fans shattered any previous record for unique visitors for a single artist on LiveNation.com," Bryan Perez, CEO of Global Digital for Live Nation, said in a statement. "Their huge response illustrates not only the immense popularity of the band, but also that music fans are increasingly turning to LiveNation.com to get information on and tickets for concerts by their favorite bands."
The "Burning Up Tour" kicks off in Toronto at the Molson Amphitheatre on July 4 and will see the Jonas Brothers performing across America, headlining Live Nation amphitheaters for the very first time.
